Two Consecutive Generations

چکیده
Received for publication 11 May 1979 and in revisedform 2 October 1979. 592 50% penetrant autosomal recessive model between the two types of families is compatible with a genetic dissimilarity between them. The high frequency ofthe Dw3 and Dw4 antigens, the Dw3/Dw4 genotype, and the decreased frequency of Dw2, however, indicate the existence of two or more important diabetic genetic factors associated with the D region of the HLA in these families.

Two consecutive measurements of the position of a non relativistic free particle will give entirely unrelated results. Recent quantum information research by G. Svetlichny, J. Tolar, and G. Chadzitaskos have explained this property of position observables as a result of a path in the Feynman integral being mathematically defined as a product of incompatible states; that is, as a product of mutu...
متن کاملBartter's syndrome in two generations of an Irish family.
We report four cases of Bartter's syndrome in two consecutive generations of an Irish family. Diagnoses were made on the basis of characteristic clinical features, blood and urine biochemistry with additional evidence from renal biopsy in one case. The aetiology, treatment and inheritance of the syndrome are discussed.

T H E requirement for research to determine some of the general and specific genetic effects of X irradiation to consecutive generations of mammals was stressed by The UNITED NATIONS CIENTIFIC OMMITTEE ON THE EFFECTS OF ATOMIC RADIATION (1958). In response to this need a program was started to investigate possible nonspecific effects of X irradiation to consecutive generations of male mice. Thi...

Five successive generations of asexually derived populations of D. tigrina and their sexually derived parental population were reared under each of six combinations of 20, 23 and 26 °C with 12 and 16 h of daylight. Asexual and sexual reproduction were recorded for each population. Peaks of asexual reproduction occurred increasingly earlier in consecutive generations to finally disappear or occu...
متن کاملExposure to hypomagnetic field space for multiple generations causes amnesia in Drosophila melanogaster.
This is the introduction of Drosophila into the study of learning and memory affected by removal of the geomagnetic field (GMF) for successive generations. Using the operant visual learning/memory paradigm at a flight simulator, the present study revealed that wild-type flies raised in a hypomagnetic field environment continuously for 10 successive generations were gradually impaired in visual ...
